Shaylyn
Practice Manager
Shaylyn is originally from the Midwest but has been lucky enough to live in several cities within Colorado. Shaylyn studied Project Management at Colorado State University but found her passion in pediatric dentistry. Shaylyn and her husband have made Colorado Springs their home, along with their three rescue pups. When Shaylyn is not at work, she enjoys trail running, mountain biking, teaching yoga and skiing.
Nawal
Treatment & Financial Coordinator
Nawal graduated from Pikes Peak Community College with her Associates of Science degree in dentistry as an EDDA. Nawal has been one of the most valuable team members of Simply Kids Dental since 2012 and is known for her calming and friendly presence with patients. On Nawal's free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son. She loves spending as much time outdoors as possible and enjoys hiking, grilling, and joining outdoor events with her children.
JoAnn
Scheduling Coordinator
JoAnn, a recent resident of Colorado Springs, is proud to be born and raised in Texas. She joins our team with a wealth of front office experience working as a front office scheduler and a medical assistant at Children's Medical Center of Dallas for over ten years. JoAnn enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her two adult children.
Jeannie
Outreach & Event Coordinator
Jeannie has been involved in dentistry for over 30 years. As our Outreach and Event Coordinator, she is given the opportunity to teach good dental hygiene to children through our “Dentist for a Day” program. She also loves to showcase the great care offered by our team at community events. Jeannie, a native of Pueblo, received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certificate from the University of Southern Colorado. She and her husband have two sons and three grandchildren. She loves to travel, read, bake, and walk in the evenings.
Sandra
Insurance Coordinator
Sandra grew up in Fountain and completed the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant program at Intellitec Medical Institute. She brings to our team a vast number of experiences working in the field of pediatric dentistry. Sandra is known for bringing a spark of joy to everyone she meets. She and her family still call Fountain home. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Linda
Clinical Lead
Linda is a native of Colorado Springs and graduated from Pikes Peak Community College with an associate degree in applied sciences. Since joining Simply Kids Dental, she has been an invaluable team member. She has excelled in every position she has held, and this is what led her to our team. Linda is married and has two sons. Her hobbies include game nights, road trips, hiking, and traveling the world.
Colton
Dental Assistant
Colton, a Colorado Springs native, joined the Simply Kids Dental team in 2021 after graduating from the American Institude of Dental Assiting. He has quickly become an invaluable team-member, with a strong desire to help make every patient’s dental experience enjoyable. Colton loves a challenge and his attention to detail helps when communicating with parents. When he is not at work, Colton is an accomplished bull rider. He spends his weekends traveling around the state to compete in rodeos.
Aaliyah
Dental Assistant
Aaliyah began her Dental Assisting career at Simply Kids Dental in 2021. Prior to being Dr. Vostatek’s dental assistant, Aaliyah was Dr. Vostatek’s patient! Aaliyah is a fast learner and passionate about what she does. Outside of work, Aaliyah enjoys hiking in the areas around her Green Mountain Falls home. Aaliyah is also a talented artist.
Kolbe
Dental Assistant
Kolbe, Dr. Sean’s oldest, moved to Colorado Springs from Iowa after his father completed his residency. Having an interest in the profession, Kolbe joined the Simply Kids Dental team in 2019 after receiving his expanded duties dental assistant degree from the American Institute of Dental Assisting. He attends Texas A&M University and is determined to pursue a degree in pediatric dentistry. Kolbe loves a challenge, and his soft manner and joyful attitude soothes our patients who need an extra touch of calm. Kolbe enjoys competing in basketball and lacrosse, summiting 14ers, and beating his father in Spartan Obstacle races.
Isaac
Dental Assistant
Isaac, Dr. Sean’s son, was born in Illinois but was raised in Colorado Springs. With a passion to serve others, he enjoys pursing dentistry and currentlya student at Texas A&M University. Having six siblings, Isaac loves interacting with children and making an anxious child more comfortable. In his free time, Isaac enjoys backpacking outdoors and participating in Trail Life and soccer.
