Sean Vostatek: As soon as you walk into the entryway, we have our core values. We also have what we call the MVPs, like our mission, our vision, and our core purpose. It’s not just for when the team members come into the office to continue to see what they live by, but also for everybody who walks through the door—all the patients, all the parents. They all see that this is what they’re going to get when they come into our office.
Jeannie: We work as a team for our patients. The patients are our number one priority in this office, and we all work together.
Nawal: It’s locally owned, which I think is a really big deal because a lot of dental offices. Now you’ll see pediatric offices everywhere —there are like six or seven locations. This is just one location owned by one guy. You’re going to see the same dentist every time. I think that’s one reason why I am drawn to it. It’s not like some big corporate company or something.
Walter: We can actually talk to Dr. Sean. It doesn’t matter how busy he is; it doesn’t matter what else is going on. We can go into his office and say, “Hey, can we talk real quick?” and he’d say, “Yeah, what’s up? What’s going on?”
Jeannie: Dr. Sean always has quarterly meetings with us where he engages in our personal lives as well as our work lives. I feel like it builds like a family-type atmosphere, and we grow connections.
Walter: Everyone’s super friendly. Everyone gets along here, and the culture is just… people enjoy coming to work.
Sean Vostatek: I love coming into the office because these guys are an incredibly talented team. Just being here every day, knowing they’re going to be here, I know I’m going to have a good day. If all my team members are here, I know they’re ready to start on time, to be prepared, and to give their best.

What positions does Simply Kids Dental typically hire for?
Front office positions such as insurance, scheduling, or treatment plan coordinator. Back office positions include hygiene, sterilization, and restorative assistants. Bilingual applicants are a plus.
Do I need previous pediatric dental experience to apply?
While we at Simply Kids Dental have grown internally, many of our own adult patients have become team members. We prefer applicants who have experience as dental assistants or working with children in the past. Expanded-function dental assistants are preferred when considering applicants for restorative or sedation dentistry.
What qualities are you looking for in new team members?
Applicants who are high energy, positive, self-motivated, and hard-working. If you’re someone who has reviewed our core values and can look in the mirror and say that’s “me,” then those are the qualities we desire!
