Dr. Sean, as his patients know him, is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is a specialist in treating infants, children, and individuals with special health care needs. His training included dental school and two additional years specializing in pediatric dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center.
After four years serving uninsured children in the National Health Service Corps, Dr. Sean realized a great desire to help underserved children. Dr. Sean decided to seek further training as a specialist in dental care for children. Dr. Sean then completed a two-year post graduate residency program receiving his certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Iowa. During his training, Dr. Sean provided comprehensive care for well children and those with special needs including emergency care, conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia. Dr. Sean is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
As a specialist, Dr. Sean is trained to treat a wide variety of children with unique needs. He is trained and certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), basic life support, and is certified by the Colorado State Board of Dentistry to provide in-office sedations. Dr. Sean is on staff at St. Francis-Penrose Hospital, and Audubon Surgery Center where he provides care to children who require treatment under general anesthesia.
Throughout his dental career, Dr. Sean has been involved in dental mission trips helping disadvantaged children receive basic dental care. He has lead several dental mission trips throughout the world in various third world countries. He remains passionate to ensure that underserved children obtain the dental and medical care they need to become successful in life.
Dr. Sean believes in professional and community involvement and is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Colorado Springs Dental Society.
Dr. Sean lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and their six children. In his free time, Dr. Sean is involved with his church, cycling, ultimate frisbee, fly fishing, and dental mission trips. Dr. Sean and family enjoy being actively involved in the community, and are thankful to call Colorado Springs home.

Candace is a native of Colorado Springs and received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certificate from Pikes Peak Community College. She has been in the dental field for over 18 years. Her incredible knowledge of all facets of dentistry makes her invaluable to our team. Candace brings a wealth of managerial experience to the team and a passion for serving others. She seeks to make every family’s experience at Simply Kids Dental the best it can be.
Candace is married to her best friend, and has two children. She enjoys outings with her family and pets (2 Boxer Pups), boating, camping, traveling, concert going and watching the Broncos WIN!
Patient Coordinator & Spanish Translator
Ale moved to Colorado Springs from Mexico when she was just 3 years old. She is married and a mother of 3 wonderful children, ages 1-11 years old. She’s also a dog mom to Rexy. Ale brings valuable skills, a beautiful smile and warm greetings to our team and patients!
She loves shopping, being outdoors and traveling with her family.
Outreach & Event Coordinator, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Jeannie has been involved in dentistry for over 30 years. As our Outreach and Event Coordinator, she is given the opportunity to teach good dental hygiene to children through our “Dentist for a Day” program. She also loves to showcase the great care offered by our team at community events.
Jeannie, a native of Pueblo, received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certificate from the University of Southern Colorado. She and her husband have two sons and two granddaughters. She loves to travel, read, bake, and walk in the evenings.
Scheduling Coordinator & Spanish Translator
JoAnn, a recent resident to Colorado Springs, is proud to be born and raised in Texas. She joins our team with a wealth of front office experience working as a front office scheduler and a medical assistant at Children's Medical Center of Dallas for over ten years.
JoAnn enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her two adult children.
Patient Care and Hospital Coordinator / Spanish Translator
Stephanie was born in Southern California but grew up in Colorado. She has a vast knowledge of the pediatric dental field that spans seven years. In those years, she's been a dental assistant, expanded duties dental assistant, office supervisor, and a general anesthesia coordinator. Working with general anesthesia has resulted in a passion for educating families on different dental treatment options.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, watching musicals, and spending time with her family.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Camille has served four years active duty military in Wyoming and Texas. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years, working closely with patients and assisting them with all their insurance needs. She strives to bring a wonderful and professional experience to all of our patients.
In her free time, Camille enjoys spending time with her family and pets, and playing and watching sports.
Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Linda is a native to Colorado Springs and graduated from Pikes Peak Community College with an Associate in Applied Sciences. Since joining Simply Kids Dental, she has been an invaluable team member. She has excelled in every position she has held and this is what led her to our team. Linda joined Dr. Sean for his latest dental mission trip to Vietnam.
Linda is married and has two sons. Her hobbies include game nights, road trips, hiking, and traveling the world.
Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Nawal graduated Pikes Peak Community College with her Associates of Science degree in dentistry as an EDDA. Nawal has been one of the most valuable team members of Simply Kids Dental since 2012, and is known for her calming and friendly presence with the patients. Nawal is frequently requested for her ability to put any patient at ease for their dental procedures.
On Nawal's free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son. She loves spending as much time outdoors as possible as well and enjoys hiking, grilling and joining outdoor events with her children.
Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Sandra grew up in Fountain, and completed the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant program at Intellitec Medical Institute. She brings to our team a vast amount of experiences working in the field of pediatric dentistry. Sandra is known for bringing a spark of joy to every child she treats.
She and her family still call Fountain home. Her hobbies include reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
Nebraska-born, Tianna has called Colorado Springs home since she was 11 years old. She joined the Simply Kids Dental team after completing her internship with the PIMA Institute. She has quickly become an invaluable team-member, becoming cross-trained with the clinical and administrative aspects of our practice. Tianna loves working with children and her soft manner soothes our young patients who need an extra touch of calm.
When she is not working, or being a mom of two children, she enjoys Zip-lining and camping in the Colorado mountains.
Dental Assistant & Spanish Translator
Yamilex, or better known as "Lexi," was born in California, but raised in Colorado Springs, CO. Yamilex graduated from PIMA Medical Institute after completing her training to become a dental assistant. She loves working with children and enjoys helping them improve their dental hygiene.
In her free time, Yamilex enjoys spending time with her daughter and drawing.

A Colorado Springs native, received his expanded duties dental assisting certificate from PIMA Medical Institute, and has been working in pediatric dentistry since. His involvement in caring for his large family has sparked a passion to ensure the best experience possible for all the family's he works with.
Phelan is also a local artist that can be seen through the city. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and making art.
Darla is a true native of Colorado and attended Mitchell High School. Upon graduating, Darla earned her Cosmetology certificate and successfully advanced within her company. Darla now brings to our team a wealth of customer service and managerial experience.
Married for over 20 years, Darla has 3 children of her own. On November 28th, 2018 her family has grown and adopted two more children to her family.
A Colorado native, Ali joins us to help with flow and maintenance of the practice. Ali recently graduated high school and is working on getting into an Electrician School.
Ali enjoys rooting for the Denver Broncos, hitting the gym, playing ultimate Frisbee and hanging out with his family and friends.

Dentist for a Day Field Trip
As a way to give back to our community, Simply Kids Dental offers a field trip program to entertain and educate children about dental health. We are happy to come right to your door or you can join us in our office. Fun props and songs are used to encourage daily brushing and flossing habits, along with lessons on healthy food choices. February is dental health month, but any time is a great time to teach the importance of good oral health! Contact us about scheduling a Dentist for a Day program for your Mom’s group, pre-school, daycare or any group that involves children.
Chick-Fil-A Patriot’s Festival
Our office wouldn't be standing without the dedicated service of our Colorado Springs emergency responders during the Waldo Canyon fire. We honor our local heroes of police, firefighters, and military through our sponsorship of the Kid’s Zone and Kid’s Patriotic Bicycle Parade at The Patriot's Festival. Our sponsorship allows us to show our support for local heroes and military personnel who ensure our safety and freedom. Halloween Candy Buy Back
Each year we sponsor a Halloween Candy Buy Back and buy back approximately 300 pounds of candy from our community. The first day after Halloween, Simply Kids Dental encourages trick-or-treaters to sell their candy back to Dr. Sean. We partner with Operation Gratitude to distribute candy and care packages to our troops serving overseas! We were proud to include inspirational letters and colorful pictures in the care packages that our patients made for our servicemen and women.
Life Network Walk for Life
We team with Life Network in their mission to promote the sanctity of life in the Pikes Peak region. We proudly sponsor a diaper drive, as well as their annual 5K Walk for Life, a family friendly event, which benefits the various community outreaches of Life Network.
Hope and Home Lemonade Brigade
The Lemonade Brigade is so much more than your typical 5K walk/run fundraiser. It is an opportunity for our community to stand together on behalf of children in foster care. Hope and Home, the largest foster care agency in Colorado Springs, mission is to transform lives by making “lemonade” out of any past traumatic situation. Our team has proudly sponsored this event over the years and look forward to running or walking for this worthy cause.
Dr. Sean not only believes in giving back to the community, but to the world as well. Whether it's here in Colorado Springs at the KIND Clinic, or across the globe in 3rd world countries, he loves the opportunity to give back to children in need. Most of the children that Dr. Sean treats are blind, deaf-mute, or have other special healthcare needs. Dr. Sean gets his local patients involved by bringing care packages and gifts that were made by his patients. He also donated money to build two new classrooms and a playground to the school in Vietnam. One highlight to his recent trip was the actual opportunity to meet the 3 children his family sponsors in Kenya.
